Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi - Marketing & Communications
From June 2022 to June 2023 I was one of the graphic design interns at the Marketing & Communications department at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. I quickly adapted to the department's procedures and workflows and created numerous public-facing promotional materials for University events and initiatives. These promotional materials ranged from print, web, social media, promotional items and digital signage.
INTERNSHIP
Act of God - Media Series
For this media series, I was tasked with creating posters, flyers, socials, entryway sign, & momentum sign graphics for the Act of God Film screening being put on my multiple university-wide departments.
Campus Tours - Presentation
With the new transition to the new brand standards for the university, some departments need to revamp their current material. For the recruitment & admissions department, I redesigned their past presentation to match the new standards as well as other promotional material. In total the presentation had 33 slides .
First Wave - Campaign
First Wave is an extended orientation requirement for first-year students to assist in their transition to TAMU-CC. For this year’s campaign, I took inspiration from the past year’s design as requested to keep up the branding. I enjoyed working on this campaign and getting to create something similar to brand standards but with some of my personal touches. This campaign is currently still being used in 2023.
Islander Voices- Media Series
For this campaign, I received a contributed flyer that needed to be used to create the necessary graphics to keep brand consistency. This project had one of the quicker turnarounds as we did not receive the contributed flyer untill closer to the show date.
Campus Marquees - Various Animations
To add to the regular rotations of event and announcement graphics rotating on the university entryway & momentum marquee signs I was tasked with creating multiple animations for each holiday that would be able to be read by passersby driving to campus. I also was able to refresh some of my Adobe After Effects & Adobe Premier skills as well as learn new ones in the process. At this same time I created various animations for social media/email marketing.
